兰音Reine | Phigros Game | Sakura Records | Animation Project
Project XYM (2026) is a non-profit, 2D animated music video project featuring the hard work of a 100+ artist crew. With a production span of 7 months, a group of talented animators, artists, and designers created this visually stunning film for Sakura Records’ song “下一秒” (The Next Second), featuring the vocals from Chinese Vup and musician 兰音Reine.
The song is featured on Phigros (Music Game).

The original goal of this animation project was to form a community of artists interested in anime-style production, gathering to learn and create something wonderful. Together, we explored a pipeline that included Photoshop, TV Paint, Blender, After Effects, Nuke, and Autodesk Maya (*and some Storyboard Pro, CSP, and ToonBoom Harmony here and there).
Many of us started using TV Paint for the first time in our lives because of this project; we grew together as animators and artists. For all the tutorials we created during this project, check out Tutorials.
